Yellam Goud was one of the most notorious gangster of Telangana in the recent times. He was also the kingpin of fake currency racket of the state. Yellam Goud, who is also known as Ellam, was involved in more than 30 murder cases, including the infamous cop killing case of Shamirpet in 2014.

Yellam was brutally killed on 24th April. First, his right arm was cut off, and then the assailant had chopped off his head. The decapitation of a notorious criminal has created havoc during lockdown in Telangana. He was killed at Ramancha village which is around 9 km away from Siddipet.
