She has done her schooling from Apeejay School in Noida where her father was the principal as well as a maths teacher. After her graduation in English Literature from the Hindu College of Delhi University she started focussing on her career in the film industry. The first movie of Tisca did not receive much attention from the audience and she had to struggle for work for a long period.
