Coronavirus Lockdown in India is from effect for the past three days and all the states are taking maximum efforts to prevent communal spreading of virus. Tamil Nadu has stopped food delivery for the past three days but it has increased difficulty among people who can’t cook. Hence the state has changed its stance on food deliveries like Swiggy, Zomato and Ubereats and are allowing them to deliver food with a few changes.

In this case, the ban on online food companies has been lifted and allowed to operate under certain conditions. According to the report, companies including Swiggy, Zomato and Ubereats can operate only from 7 am to 9:30 am, 12pm to 2:30 pm and 7pm to 9 pm. In addition, the police have been asked to obtain the identity card for the permit and only after the employees have been subjected to proper inspection. Also the delivery of food should be made contactless.
