Simbu resumes Maanadu shoot. This is how the team is keeping Covid-19 at bay

Simbu is surprising everyone these days with his involvement in his upcoming projects. He completed the shoot of director Suseenthiran’s Eeswaran in just 22 days and has even wrapped up the film’s dubbing. Eeswaran is all set to release in theatres on Pongal 2021.

For the past couple of years, Simbu is known for not co-operating with his directors and turning up late at shoots, dubbing and promotional events. However, Simbu has undergone a drastic transformation physical and mentally and is confident of changing the public’s perception on him.

After wrapping up the shoot of Eeswaran in three weeks, Simbu has now joined the the team of Maanadu in Pondicherry. The film, directed by Venkat Prabhu, was stalled due to the novel coronavirus pandemic. After nearly eight months, the shooting of Maanadu has finally resumed.

To keep Covid-19 at bay, the Maanadu team is taking cautious steps to not contract the virus. The shoot is progressing in Pondicherry under the supervision of Sidha specialist Dr. Veerababu. He will be monitoring the team and giving them herbal drinks and medicines to make sure the Maanadu team members do not contract the virus.

Suresh Kamatchi is bankrolling this venture. Kalyani Priyadarshan, SJ Suryah and Manoj Bharathiraja are part of the cast.
