Who Are the Founders of The Yard Milkshake Bar?
Chelsea and Logan Green hail from entrepreneurial families. Chelsea’s family members are owners of a convenience store and it is their family business. Logan’s family possess an electrical contracting firm.
Chelsea was an early bloomer in the entrepreneurial aspect. Chelsea opened an ice cream shop with her mother while she was in college. After this, Chelsea opened an outlet which was the brainchild of her natural creativity which involved making some excellent milkshakes.
Chelsea did her graduation in marketing from University of South Alabama and her social media prowess was needed to market their new venture.
The Story of The Yard Milkshake Bar
Once she started off on her milkshake journey, her employees and customers contributed a lot of interesting ideas. This gave birth to the The Yard Milkshake Bar. Chelsea and Logan Green opened their first outlet in their hometown of Gulf Shores, Alabama, in May 2017.
Chelsea’s social media campaign for The Yard on Facebook and the Instagram was a huge hit. A massive crowd arrived on the opening day and the crowd doubled on day two.
The Yard’s first outlet has a very chic atmosphere with white paint and rustic wood. Logan did the table and bench design all by herself. The experience of ordering is simple. Pick Up a menu and a pen. Mark the desired choices, be it build your own milkshake or order one of their specialty shakes. Handover the menu at the register and get the order number.

The Yard Milkshake Bar Product Range
Apart from the ‘Make Your Own’ product range. The Yard offers regular milkshakes, hand-dipped cones, floats and conventional ice cream flavors.
The Yard has the following flavors of ice cream:

The Yard is expanding. There are two bars in Alabama, one in Florida and one in Texas, and the franchising is just beginning with two bars in Mississippi.
