Shark Tank India Season 2 is off to a great start while it inspires millions of aspiring youth and entrepreneurs to take the plunge into the startup ecosystem in India. The renowned sharks of Shark Tank India provide opportunities to three or four startups in every episode to pitch them for an investment.
Aman Gupta (BOAT), Peyush Bansal (Lenskart), Amit Jain (Cardekho.com), Namita (Emcure Pharma) and Anupam (Shaadi.com) formed the Shark Tank India panel last week. However, Ashneer will be missing this season of Shark Tank. The first episode of Shark Tank India 2 featured three vibrant startups.
Hoovu Fresh Shark Tank India Deal Update
- Vibrant young women from Bengaluru, Yeshoda and Rhea Karuturi pitched their startup, ‘Hoovu Fresh’, a fresh flower selling online portal which is also evident on Amazon, Big Basket.
- The entrepreneur partners asked for INR 80 Lakhs for 2% equity in their company.
- The inspiring youngster co-founders received only one offer from Shark Tank for INR 1 Crore for 2% Equity from Aman and Peyush Bansal.

Dorje Teas Shark Tank India Deal Update
- Enterprising young men from Darjeeling, Ishaan Kanoria & Sparsh Agarwal pitched their startup, ‘Dorje Teas’, an Organic tea brand from Darjeeling.
- The entrepreneur partners asked for INR 30 Lakhs for 5% equity in their company.
- The inspiring youngster co-founders received only one offer from Shark Tank for INR 30 lakhs for 15% Equity from Aman, Vineeta and Peyush Bansal.

Recode Studios Shark Tank India Deal Update
- Enterprising young men from Darjeeling, Dheeraj Bansal & Rahul Sachdeva pitched their startup, ‘Recode Studios’, an interesting idea which takes makeup classes online.
- The entrepreneur partners asked for INR 1 Crore for 1% equity in their company.
- The inspiring youngster co-founders received no offers from the Sharks considering their valuation.
