Indian Premier League 2019 | RCB vs MI | 7th Match DOTBALL PREDICTION TIPS, GUIDE AND PREVIEW

Bangalore, March 28, Thursday at 08:00 PM IST

Two heavily supported teams in the IPL – Mumbai Indians (MI)and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) will look to shrug off their defeats in the first game. This is the first game of IPL 2019 at Bangalore and the hosts RCB will be looking to make their home advantage count after the disastrous batting performance against CSK in Chennai. Mumbai Indians will look at losing the ‘worst starters’ in IPL history tag with a better performance in their bowling department tomorrow.

RCB vs MI Dotball Preview

Royal Challengers Bangalore’s Image at Stake

Royal Challengers Bangalore started off with a crushing defeat in IPL 2019 however the Mumbai Indians lost to one man with a ballistic bat – Rishabh Pant and not DC as a team. RCB’s bowlers did not have a decent target to bowl at and hence were not put to a big test. The star studded batting line up with Virat Kohli, AB De Villiers and Shimron Hetmyer looked off color and unmotivated in a spin friendly track in Chennai. RCB will be relying heavily on their batsmen in Chinnaswamy Stadium which has proven to be a batting paradise time and again

Determined Mumbai Indians look to lose the Poor Starters tag

Mumbai Indians are undoubtedly the poorest starters when compared to how they finish off the tournament. The three time IPL champions will be looking forward to exercising more discipline in the bowling department. Skipper Rohit Sharma is opening the batting for MI and a lot is counting on him. Suryakumar Yadav needs to adapt to the upper middle order slot after fairing significantly well in the last season. Quinton De Kock and the Pandya brothers got off to starts which wasn’t enough to chase down a mammoth target in the first game. Mumbai Indians is lacking a game changer like Andre Russell/Rishabh Pant and they will be looking forward to Kieron Pollard to fill in to these shoes. Jasprit Bumrah had an injury scare in the first game but has been declared fit. However reports suggest that he didn’t bowl in the practice session.

Pitch Analysis and Statistics

Chinnaswamy is a batsman’s paradise and 200+ scores are chased with ease in the track which suggests that the pitch remains the same throughout the game unlike Delhi or Chennai. Chasing has been the most sought after toss decision and the bowlers will have a tough night in Bangalore.

Average 1st innings score: 175

Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Mumbai Indians Head to Head Stats

Royal Challengers Bangalore – 2 | Mumbai Indians – 7

Odds are in favour of MI and/or the team batting second as chasing has worked well in Chinnaswamy. RCB clearly do not have the home team advantage in Chinnaswamy.
