In recent times platforms like Hotstar have provided great opportunity for Indian TV shows. The reach and attention gathered by such shows is really commendable. The story revolves around the life of a renowned surgeon who is at the crossroads of choosing between family and ethics.

The Cast

The entire team of Hostages is packed with great talent and artists that we have loved in movies and TV shows. The leads for this series are Tisca Chopra and Ronit Roy. Director Sudhir Mishra said, “The opportunity to adapt this for India and to direct this powerful ensemble is what directors’ dreams are made of.” He also thanked Applause Entertainment, Banijay Asia and Hotstar for such opportunity. Tisca Chopra spoke about how this show is closely knit to the lives of working women in India. She said that her character can be related to women who have had to struggle with jobs at hand while being a role model mother. She is extremely delighted to be a part of the show. Ronit Roy on the other hand claims that the story is so gripping that you will find yourself going through the entire series to find out what will happen next.
