What’s new in The Office?
In the trailer of the series we can see what does working under a Punjabi boss feels like. After your 9 to 5 of torture and tiredness, watch the struggle of Wilkins Chawla. The corporate challenges of employees working under the ‘funjabi’ boss will ooze away your stress in no time. While there is a strong wave rumour of the show being the exact copy of the BCC original, the critics have claimed the opposite. Moreover, One can find the show being the mockery of the original with a slight resemblance of the characters.
Cast of The Office
The Office has a cast comprising just 6 members. In the lead we have Mukul Chadda as Jagadeep Chadda. Gopal Dutt, Sayandeep Sengupta, Samridhi Dewan, Gauhar Khan and Gavin Methalaka are the main characters in the series. The Delhi based show is written by Chirag Mahabal, Arshad Syed, Shruti Madan, Adhir Bhatt and Sumit Roy. It has been directed by Debbie Rao, Rohan Sippy and Bumpy.
Like some of the Hotstar Specials namely Hostages and Criminal Justice, this one is a true entertainer because of the plot. The best part about the production of this series is the fact that it has the affiliation with the original production house. The show is co-produced Applause Entertainment in association with BBC Studios India. The character of the over excited boss is well crafted for maximum entertainment.
From the trailer it can be ensured that the overall setting of the new office is more or like the previous one. The over enthusiastic boss always tries to boost the morale the employees at the paper firm Wilkins Chawla. Just like every boss, the employees have to bear with his lame jokes. The over friendly ‘funjabi’ boss often intervenes with the lives of others at the firm. The work space is a complete mess and even the walk from desk to desk looks quirky.
While the not-so-over smart boss tries his best, the everyday struggle is adventurous in The Office. This 9 to 5 life will ensure only laughter and no troubles. As mentioned earlier the show will be premiered on the 28th of June. There is a great chance for people to feel nostalgic with the amazing coming timing in the series. Also, if you are the boss, take good notes while enjoying the show.
