Indian Premier League 2019 | MI vs CSK | MI vs CSK 15th Match DOTBALL PREDICTION TIPS, GUIDE AND PREVIEW

Mumbai, April 3rd, Wednesday at 08:00 PM IST

It has been a fascinating start to IPL 2019 for the defending champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK) while Mumbai Indians lost 2 out of their games so far. CSK lived up to their expectations as the most consistent team in the IPL with three crushing wins over their opponents. The 15th match of IPL 2019 will witness the most followed derby of the tournament as Mumbai Indians are the only team who have a stellar head to head statistic against CSK. Mumbai Indians will look at putting an end to the CSK juggernaut at home.

MI vs CSK Dotball Preview

Inconsistent Mumbai Indians Look to Reverse their Fortunes

Mumbai Indians will be playing at home after two away games in which the last match against Kings XI Punjab was a defeat in all departments. Consistency has been an issue for Mumbai Indians especially towards the start of the IPL in almost every season. The batting order looks strong with a rock solid opening pair. However, Suryakumar Yadav and Kieron Pollard have failed to impress this season which is a big blow to the middle order.

Bowling has the experience of Malinga and Bumrah but they have not been very consistent either. Rohit Sharma and his boys have failed to take advantage of the home conditions which is a major difference between MI’s approach when compared to CSK.

Chennai Super Kings – Will the Dream Run Continue?

Chennai Super Kings have a lot of expectations riding on their shoulders after a dream comeback to IPL in 2018. Dhoni’s midas touch has not deteriorated and the core team looks solid. CSK will look at experimenting with their strong overseas bench strength comprising of Sam Billings and Faf Du Plessis. Considering the meager total to be chased, the batting wasn’t tested much for CSK in their first game. However, the bowling unit looks top notch with Deepak Chahar, Imran Tahir and the newcomer to CSK – Harbhajan Singh performing at their peak (who did not play the last game). Suresh Raina looks in good knick and he becomes the first player to cross 5000 runs in IPL.

Bravo has lived up to the task when it mattered and that’s the kind of game changer which Mumbai Indians seem to lack this season around.

Pitch Analysis and Statistics

Wankhede has been a batsman’s paradise with DC scoring 213 in the first game which MI failed to chase. However, chasing is preferred in this wicket as dew begins to set towards the beginning of the second innings.

Average 1st innings score: 168
