MasterChef UK 2023 kicked off its 19th season with several changes, including new audition rounds, Critic Dishes, and other cooking challenges designed to keep contestants on their toes and test their culinary skills.
During the audition process, nine cooks competed for a chance to win an apron, with seven advancing to the next round while two were eliminated. These seven cooks then faced off in a second challenge to secure their place in the quarter-finals.
As the competition progressed through the audition weeks and quarter-finals, the remaining contestants faced off in a semi-final cooking challenge to determine who would move one step closer to winning the MasterChef UK 2023 trophy.
On May 12th, 2023, the fifth quarter-final challenge of MasterChef UK 2023 will take place, with three more contestants earning their spot in the Knockout Week.
During the most recent episode on May 10th, all seven apron holders faced off in the next cooking challenge, resulting in four contestants moving on to the quarter-finals.
In the fifth heat, which aired on May 8th, nine new contestants competed, with the top seven earning their MasterChef apron.
For those following along, on May 10th, Fannata and Vijaya were eliminated from the competition, leaving four quarter-finalists from heat five of the season.
On May 8th, the first challenge of heat five resulted in the elimination of Jeff and Richard from MasterChef UK 2023.
Finally, during the fourth quarter-final on May 4th, Chris was eliminated from the competition while Chariya, Robin, and Josh advanced to the Knockout Week. Keep tuning in to see who will be crowned the next MasterChef UK champion.
