Every year this is the calendar to look forward to as it sees the best in the industry on its pages. Every month brings about a fresh dose of spice and hotness. This year’s calendar showcased pictures of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Ananya Pandey, Kriti Sanon, Jacqueline Fernandez, Saif Ali Khan, Parineeti Chopra, Anushka Sharma in unique elements while there were a set of celebrities, Tiger Shroff, Vidya Balan, Sunny Leone, Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar, Kiara Advani, John Abraham, Varun Dhawan who set the temperatures soaring. One picture that caught the eyes of the audience was that of Kiara Advani. She looked amazing in her shot but the concept is what made the net go crazy with memes galore. But if you thought that was it there was more to surface. Apparently the shot is a take away from an international photographer hereby plagiarizing it .

In Daboo Ratnani’s calendar shot, Kiara Advani is bare bodied and stands behind a leaf. First, there was a comment on the picture stating that this wasn’t Daboo’s original idea and was lifted off from elsewhere but there was no evident proof. Following which there came in hard facts. It is said that the picture was originally taken in a similar format by International photographer Marie Barsch. The concept behind the picture seems to be a clear cut rip off from the original.
This came to the notice of the original photographer Marie Barsch and she too reposted the original with Daboo’s picture. She was further on mocked by fans who considered her picture to be copies from Daboo’s. She even showed evidence of the same.
First the picture taking the internet by storm and later the controversy backing it, it seems that Kiara Advani’s image is in the news for all the wrong reasons and she has been unnecessarily dragged into it. There has been no official statement given by any of the parties accepting or declining the accusation.
