The trailer of Karan Johar’s ‘Student of the Year 2’ is out. The audience will be eager to find out if the sequel will make waves like the first part which starred Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Siddharth Roy Kapoor. These three stars have made the most of their Karan Johar powered launchpad and we expect the same to happen with Ananya Pandey and Tara Sutaria who will be debuting in Student of the Year 2.

Ananya Panday is a 20 year old star who was born in Mumbai to popular comedian Chunky Pandey. She made her debut appearance in Koffee with Karan last season. She portrayed herself as a down to earth person who is hungry to achieve more and Student of the Year 2 might help her do just that.
“I love competition. You can see it in ‘SOTY 2’. It was so much fun. It is very motivating to have new people. Our film industry needs new people all the time. So, it is amazing,” said Ananya when she was asked about competition.
This 20 year old star is gifted with an amazing debut and it is going to be too much pressure on her tiny shoulders as the expectations from Ananya Pandey are increasing by the day. Alia Bhatt got herself off to a flying start similar to what Ananya is forecasted to have. Will Ananya get a ‘Highway’ or ‘Raazi’ to her kitty and most importantly, will she be able to live upto the expectations of becoming the next Alia Bhatt, only time will tell.
