On 31st of May 2019, a new crime thriller called ‘Hostages’ will be released on Hotstar. The buzz for this series was real not only because of the cast but also because it is an adaptation of the amazing Israeli TV series. Hotstar Hostages Season 2 Production Status Updates
Hostages series director Sudhir Mishra spoke up about the much awaited season 2. “The edit of all the episodes are done. The background music is being done. We are a little slow because we can’t meet, but things are happening. We are trying to adjust to this new way of working. I think the second season will come by May end,” said Sudhir Mishra.
Hostages Season 1 episodes were premiered on television (Star Plus) on the 13th of April.

Rewinding to the season 1 ending, actually the last scene showed that the chief minister was the biological dad of ronits wife.
That dog dying and again reviving was nothing but the medicine that rohit had given to the doctor Tisca to apply on the chief minister while operating him this would suggest that chief minister died but he actually didn’t die. Tisca actually applied the medicine after she heard from his son that the dog came back from death so she realized what the medicine could do. So she applied that medicine to the CM it looked like he’s died while they took their body to the dead body’s place in the hospital where they had the ward boy change the body with a look alike of the cm.
Why did rohit do all this?
Because her wife needed a bone marrow to get back to normal health which they ll now take from the real cm who’s also the actual father of her while the world will mourn the death of the cm. Tisca when she went to Roy’s house she checked the reports of ronits wife and matched her DNA report with that of the cm, thats also the reason why she asked the cm before operating her that how many kids he has, to check her character.
It would be interesting to see how the Season 2 pans out and how Tisca takes this forward.
