The much awaited G7 summit will be held between August 24th to August 26th 2019. Canada, France, United States of America, Japan, Germany, Italy and the United Kingdom are a part of the G7 council.
Where is the G7 Summit 2019 Host Location?
The Hôtel du Palais Biarritz which is now a part of the The Unbound Collection By Hyatt will host the leaders of the seven nations. The hotel, inaugurated in 1855 underwent renovation and geared up just in time for the major world event.

Alessandro Cresta, the new director of the hotel stated that “They are customers like any other. For us, this is part of the hotel business.”, when he was questioned if the event pressurized their daily operations.
An interesting fact is the teams under Alessandro are no longer responsible for the event handling during the course of the event. Though there were pierced walls for security installations and wiring, the vintage property looked stunning and well set for the massive event.
The renovation was completed by the end of June 2019 and the Hyatt Group’s manager, Michel Morauw expressed his satisfaction at the way Alessandro handled the renovations without disrupting daily operations.
On August 24, Emmanuel Macron, the President of France welcomed Angela Merkel, Shinzo Abe, Donald Trump, Boris Johnson, Justin Trudeau and Giuseppe Conte under the paneling of the Second Empire salons.
Hôtel du Palais Biarritz is the Latest Addition to The Unbound Collection By Hyatt
The Hôtel du Palais Biarritz was manged by Four Seasons group earlier and was taken over by The Hyatt group. The Hyatt management found it to be a perfect match for their “Unbound Collection”, which includes the Hôtel du Louvre in Paris and Martinez hotel in Cannes.
