Demi Lovato, a faithful defender of the ‘body positive’ movement, has returned to the load on Instagram, where she has made it clear that she does not intend to resort to Photoshop or filters to retouch her stunning curves.
A week ago, the singer was charged with value to publish an image without photographic retouching in which it was shown as it is – cellulite included – and her allegation about ‘body positive’ went viral on the social network.
“This is my biggest fear. A picture of me in an unedited bikini. And guess, it’s cellulite! I’m literally so tired of being ashamed of my body, editing it (yes, the other bikini photos were edited, and I hate doing that, but it is the truth) for others to think that I am HIS idea of what beauty is, but it is not me, “he confessed. And following the example of his own words, the pop star has done it again.
Without complexes and showing its natural beauty, she has posed in front of a mirror in a leopard print bikini. And the image has burned the social network.
In just 24 hours it surpasses 4.3 million ‘hearts’ and next to it you can read all kinds of compliments and compliments towards the 27-year-old actress.
Something similar happened when he published last week the unedited photo of his vacation in Bora Bora. Then Hailey Baldwin or Eiza Gonzalez, among other celebrities, dedicated heart and fire icons to comment on how beautiful she is without touch-ups.
Demi Lovato seems determined to leave all bad habits behind after she suffered an overdose last year. Currently she is focused on her career, her family and friends and in this new stage there is no place for complexes or prejudices. Good for you, Demi!

This is my biggest fear. A photo of me in a bikini unedited. And guess what, it’s CELLULIT!!!! I’m just literally sooooo tired of being ashamed of my body, editing it (yes the other bikini pics were edited – and I hate that I did that but it’s the truth) so that others think I’m THEIR idea of what beautiful is, but it’s just not me. This is what I got. I want this new chapter in my life to be about being authentic to who I am rather than trying to meet someone else’s standards. So here’s me, unashamed, unafraid and proud to own a body that has fought through so much and will continue to amaze me when I hopefully give birth one day. It’s such a great feeling to be back in tv/film while not stressing myself with a strenuous workout schedule before 14 hour days, or depriving myself from a real birthday cake rather than opting for watermelon & whip cream with candles because I was terrified of REAL cake and was miserable on some crazy diet shit. Anyway, here’s me, RAW, REAL! And I love me. And you should love you too! Now back to the studio.. I’m working on an anthem.. 🙏🏼🙌🏼🤷🏻♀️ also. Just so everyone’s clear.. I’m not stoked on my appearance BUT I am appreciative of it and sometimes that’s the best I can do. I hope to inspire someone to appreciate their body today too. 💗 #nationalcelulliteday #celluLIT 🔥🔥🔥
