Tamilnadu’s biggest reality show from Star Vijay, Bigg Boss Tamil returns for yet another season. After a successful finish to Bigg Boss Tamil 4 in spite of Covid-19 risks, Bigg Boss Tamil Season 5 will launch as the second wave of Covid-19 pandemic eases in the state of Tamil Nadu. Host Kamal Hassan will continue hosting the show in Bigg Boss 5 Tamil.
The Covid-19 pandemic delayed the release of Bigg Boss Tamil 4 to October 2020. As a result, the production team is looking forward to bringing the schedule of Bigg Boss Tamil on track. However, it is unlikely that the show will resume from July for the fifth edition as reported earlier.
Bigg Boss Telugu 5 and Bigg Boss Tamil 5 might continue to overlap this year as they did two years ago. However, both the Bigg Boss editions will undergo a slight delay in the production schedule. As a result, the fans of Bigg Boss are quite disappointed. On that note, the production team of Bigg Boss Tamil 5 is looking for a potential slot in September 2021.
Kamal Hassan’s upcoming movie shoots were stalled due to his election campaigning schedules. The host of Bigg Boss Tamil 5 will engage in production schedules for his upcoming film ‘Vikram’ directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. The actor cum host will be shooting during July and August for this film. However, Kamal Hassan will continue to host Bigg Boss Tamil 5.
