Get ready for another exciting season of Bigg Boss Malayalam as season 5 kicked off today with host Mohanlal introducing the contestants one by one. This season promises to be just as fiery as the previous ones, with a group of talented contestants hailing from various fields such as social media, cinema, serial, bodybuilding, and more.
Every week there will be voting in Bigg Boss 5 Malayalam where one of the nominated contestants will be voted out based on voting results from public.
Reneesha Rahman from the popular serial ‘Sita Kalyanam’ is among the contestants this season. Serena Ann Johnson, who made it to the finals of Miss Queen Kerala beauty pageant 2022 and holds an MBA in HR Marketing, is also in the mix.
Director Akhil Marar, who turned to film direction after working in Congress and BJP, Rinosh George, the social media influencer who rose to fame with his viral music video ‘I Am A Mallu’, and Shobha Viswanathan, the fashion designer and social activist who founded ‘Weaver’s Village’, are also competing for the title.
Sagar Surya, who gained popularity through the series Tattim Muttim, fitness model Vishnu Joshi, and Angeline Maria, who entered the acting field through modeling, are also among the contestants this season.
Sridevi Menon, the multi-talented model, interviewer, dancer, actress, and vlogger, and Junais, the social media star known for his humorous takes on topical issues, are also competing for the title this season.
Anju Rosh, who pursued her passion for acting despite her father’s wish for her to be a businessman like him, Manisha Subramanian, who shone as a singer, radio jockey, and actor, and Brother Mithun, the first fighter from South India to bag a gold medal in Wushu, are also among the contestants.
Nadira Mehrin, the first trans person student to join PG in Political Science at Thiruvananthapuram University College, and Aishwarya Suresh, the actress who has proved her talent in both modeling and acting, are also in the mix.
Finally, Gopika Gopi, the first commoner to compete in the history of Bigg Boss Malayalam, rounds out the contestant list this season. Let’s see who will come out on top and be crowned the winner of Bigg Boss Malayalam season 5.
